Strengthening Joint Cooperation for Projects at Dahamkke Care Center Happy Home
Namhae-gun, Gyeongnam Province, and Save the Children (Southern Regional Headquarters) signed the "Namhae-gun Child Rights Promotion Business Agreement" at the Namhae-gun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
On the 4th, through the business agreement, Namhae-gun Governor Jang Chung-nam and Lee Hyun-joo, head of Save the Children Southern Regional Headquarters, promised to cooperate on ▲interior design and outdoor play environment improvement for the second branch of the Dahamkke Care Center ▲operation of child rights awareness education programs ▲support for human and material resources for children and youth from low-income families.
In particular, expectations are rising for the interior design and outdoor play environment improvement project for the second branch of the Dahamkke Care Center.
This project is part of the children's play and learning space "Happy Home" supported by Lotte Wellfood, and Namhae-gun was selected as the 12th project site in February. The Happy Home project is a social contribution initiative jointly promoted by Lotte Wellfood and the international child rights NGO Save the Children.
Lee, the head of the regional office, said, "We have high expectations for the upcoming projects due to Namhae-gun's demonstrated interest in promoting child rights," adding, "The three workshops in which Namhae-gun children will directly participate in the design will provide meaningful experiences for the children."
Governor Jang said, "Through this business agreement with Save the Children, we will be able to provide unique outdoor playgrounds and learning spaces for the children in our county, and we have great expectations for the future," adding, "Starting with the child rights promotion agreement, we hope to offer exciting experiences and fun to children and provide parents with cultural care spaces where they can safely leave their children."
