On February 25, a citizen ran to the police box and reported, "There is a car stopped in front of the mart, but the car door is locked. The gear is in N, but even when knocking on the door, the person inside is unresponsive." Officer Jang, who was on duty at the time, rushed to the scene and found a car diagonally stopped in the middle of the road just 10 seconds after the initial report. Inside the car was a driver convulsing and shaking all over due to seizures.

Sensing the urgency of the situation, Officer Jang used the rescue tool 'RescueMe' to break the front passenger window and then tore off the window glass with his bare hands. During this process, Officer Jang sustained injuries to his hands. The driver had a pulse but showed no signs of consciousness. Officer Jang continuously massaged the driver's arms, shoulders, and legs to check the patient's condition and quickly handed him over to the ambulance. Thanks to Officer Jang's swift action, the time taken to transport the patient to the hospital was confirmed to be about five minutes, and fortunately, the driver survived. Officer Jang, who was injured, also received emergency trauma treatment immediately after the incident and is reported to be recovering.

Netizens responded with various comments such as, "Thank you for your quick response and always working hard for the citizens. Just as every life is precious, please take good care of yourself, officer," "Thank you for your passion and dedication to the people," "Thank you for protecting the citizens, and I hope your hand heals quickly," and "We support the Korean police."
