First, on the morning of the 3rd, at the policy agreement ceremony held at Shin Jeong-hoon's Minsheng Camp, more than 20 labor union representatives attended, including Kim Dae-ryeon, Senior Vice Chairman of the Public Federation, Lee Eul-chul, Chairman of the Gwangjeon Labor Union, and Jo Hyung-gyu, Chairman of the LH Labor Union.

Candidate Shin and the National Public Labor Union Federation agreed to implement seven major tasks toward realizing a "sustainable and just society created by labor," aiming for a workplace without discrimination, a cooperative workplace, and a better society.

Specifically, they agreed to jointly pursue legislative tasks such as ▲legalizing social solidarity legislation ▲re-pushing amendments to Articles 2 and 3 of the Labor Union Act ▲legislating the extension of the retirement age to 65 linked to the public old-age pension eligibility age ▲introducing a four-day workweek and eradicating long-hour compressed labor ▲establishing a social wage system through industry-level negotiations ▲strengthening the public nature of community-centered care services ▲expanding public medical personnel and resolving medical imbalance.

On the 4th, a signing ceremony was held at the office of the Naju Moksago-eul Market Merchants Association with 11 labor union representatives, including Choi Cheol-ho, Chairman of the National Power Industry Labor Union Federation.

The event was held to strengthen the public nature of electric power energy and realize a just transition that guarantees the employment and stable lives of power workers during the transition to a carbon-neutral society in response to the climate crisis.

Both parties agreed to join forces for ▲establishing a rational electricity rate determination structure ▲promoting public-led energy transition ▲realizing a just transition through social dialogue ▲stable power supply and energy security ▲strengthening the public nature of the power industry.

Candidate Shin Jeong-hoon and the labor union federations stated, "We will promote the protection of workers' rights, sustainable development and strengthening of publicness in the public sector, and strive to seek and realize solutions to major issues."

Candidate Shin added, "Since the launch of the Yoon Seok-yeol government, asset and equity sales of major public institutions have been pushed under the name of the 'Public Institution Innovation Plan.' Also, many problems have arisen as the Ministry of Economy and Finance excessively intervenes in leading major policy decisions. We will fully oppose the anti-labor policies of the Yoon Seok-yeol government and the bureaucratic control by the Ministry of Economy and Finance."
