Oillex eFuel Solution Member Company Application Support
Fuel Cost Reduction and Carbon Emission Management
The Korea Integrated Logistics Association has partnered with the startup Oilex, which has developed technology to monitor carbon emissions, to support logistics companies' ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives.
The Korea Integrated Logistics Association announced on the 4th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with ESG-specialized company Oilex.
Oilex developed 'eFuel,' a vehicle monitoring solution capable of real-time energy and carbon emission monitoring. It will support the application of this solution to the association's member companies. Accordingly, logistics companies that are members will be able to maximize vehicle operation efficiency, reduce fuel costs, and accurately measure and manage carbon emissions.
Cho Moo-young, Vice Chairman of the Korea Integrated Logistics Association, stated, "Logistics ESG focuses on 'greenhouse gas reduction' in the environmental sector (E) and 'industrial safety' in the social sector (S). Through this agreement, the association has taken its first step in the environmental sector." He added, "Especially for small and medium logistics companies that find it difficult to respond to ESG management, we will continue to make great efforts to help them establish ESG management early and appropriately respond to domestic and international demands in the fields of environment and safety."
