KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 4th that it will implement the 'KB Small Business Support Project' worth a total of 15 billion KRW.
The 'KB Small Business Support Project' is a voluntary financial support program prepared by KB Kookmin Bank for small business owners, youth, and vulnerable groups. It refunds guarantee fees and loan interest to small business owners who have received non-face-to-face guaranteed loans or credit loans. Eligible products include ▲KB Small Business Guaranteed Loan (Regional Foundation, Ontact, Mobile Opportunity Guarantee) ▲KB Small Business Credit Loan, among others.
This project is operated in two parts: 'guarantee fee support' and 'loan interest support.' The guarantee fee support, worth a total of 11 billion KRW, provides a 60% guarantee fee subsidy to all individual business owners who apply for KB Small Business Guaranteed Loans secured by guarantee certificates from 17 regional credit guarantee foundations nationwide. For restaurant or wholesale and retail business owners with medium to low credit, support of up to 80% is provided.
The loan interest support is operated with a total budget of 4 billion KRW. All individual business owners who have received KB Small Business Credit Loans will receive a cashback of up to 50% of the interest paid over six months. A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "It is expected that about 36,000 small business owners will benefit from financial support through this program."
