Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, conducted the ‘2024 Public Officials Accounting Job Training’ for over 400 public officials over two days from the 2nd to the 3rd in the main conference room.
According to the county on the 4th, this training contributed to enhancing employees' understanding by providing easy-to-understand education using next-generation local finance program screenshots and other materials for difficult accounting tasks that could previously only be briefly learned through new employee training and predecessors.
Additionally, to match the employees’ level, actual responsible officers in charge of general expenditures and contract tasks conducted the training, and a Q&A session with various cases was held in a comfortable atmosphere with the participating employees.
To minimize work time gaps for employees participating in the training, the county conducted education on general expenditure tasks on the first day and contract tasks such as construction, services, goods, and government procurement on the second day, tailored to the respective work areas.
An officer from the Planning and Public Relations Office who participated in the training said, “Due to my lack of experience in general expenditures and contract tasks, I often had to bother accounting team members and nearby colleagues with questions,” adding, “I hope there will be more opportunities for practical, work-centered training rather than rigid theoretical education in the future.”
A representative from the Tax Accounting Division’s accounting team stated, “This training was conducted to improve the work capabilities of personnel responsible for difficult expenditure and contract tasks amid regular personnel transfers,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide efficient and sound financial management and trusted administrative services through prompt and accurate work execution.”
