This support was prepared to activate the consumption of domestic wheat and to provide healthy food to help children recognize the safety of local agricultural products.
The supported products will be deliciously prepared according to the menus of each daycare center and kindergarten and served to the children.
The products will be supplied in two phases. The first phase will supply all 49 locations, and places with 60 or more children will receive a partial second supply in June.
A city official said, "In a situation where the price of imported wheat is unstable due to rapidly changing climate and international circumstances, we hope that domestic wheat can be produced stably. We will strive to protect children's health by supplying safe domestic wheat products and to revitalize domestic wheat farmers and processing companies."
