4 Teams Including Seonghwa Management, Fair Management, Road Management, and Yeonhui-dong Resident Welfare Teams Recognized for Their Achievements
Seodaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Seongheon) selected the outstanding teams of March 2024 and awarded them at the regular executive meeting held on the 3rd in the district office's main conference room.
The district has been selecting and awarding outstanding teams every month that have contributed to the development of district administration and improved residents' quality of life through proactive work efforts.
The outstanding teams for March were ▲ Planning and Budget Division Performance Management Team (Team Leader Kang Jeonghyun and 3 others) ▲ Housing Maintenance Division Construction Management Team (Team Leader Joo Hyungmo and 5 others) ▲ Road Division Road Management Team (Team Leader Kim Gyunseong and 7 others) ▲ Yeonhui-dong Community Service Center Resident Welfare Team (Team Leader Jeong Sunmi and 9 others).
These teams were selected from 10 initially nominated teams after review by the ‘Seodaemun-gu Public Evaluation Committee’ and honored with awards.
The Planning and Budget Division Performance Management Team contributed to Seodaemun-gu being selected as an outstanding district in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s joint government evaluation and achieved excellent results in over 60 external agency evaluations, securing approximately 18.6 billion won in external funding.
The Housing Maintenance Division Construction Management Team received high praise for achievements including publishing the nation’s first white paper on reconstruction and redevelopment, operating a redevelopment and reconstruction maintenance project academy, holding progress meetings between the district office and associations, and providing public support at each stage of maintenance project zones.
The Road Division Road Management Team was recognized for proactively implementing snow removal measures to ensure citizens’ safe and comfortable road use, while the Yeonhui-dong Community Service Center Resident Welfare Team was commended for discovering welfare resources in the area, linking services, and providing prompt welfare support to households affected by flooding in January this year.
The district awarded each outstanding team a prize of 500,000 won and shared these exemplary cases with all departments.
