Players Seminar for Seed Holders
Two-Time Champion, Term Until 2025
Lee Won-jun has been elected as the representative of the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Tour Players' Committee.
He was chosen at the 2024 season KPGA Tour Players' Seminar held on the 2nd at Inspire Entertainment Resort in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, which was attended by KPGA Tour card holders. His term will last until 2025. Lee Won-jun won the 62nd KPGA Championship in 2019 and the Bizplay Electronic Newspaper Open in 2020. He has recorded a total of two wins on the KPGA Tour.
The seminar covered important golf rules, sports ethics, anti-doping education, and the operational plans for this year’s KPGA Tour. Additionally, experts were invited to provide lessons on wine, styling, and the attitudes required as a professional golfer. Chairman Kim Won-seop said, "This year’s tour pro seminar was prepared with more substantial content than ever before. We will continue to strive to create a culture where players active on the tour are recognized and respected." The KPGA Tour will open its season with the 19th DB Insurance Promy Open, held over four days starting on the 11th at La Vie Belle Country Club in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province.
