In Argentina, a video showing men using a python to jump rope has been released on social media, sparking controversy over animal abuse.

On the 2nd (local time), British outlet The Sun and others reported that the 'snake jump rope' video became a hot topic in Argentina, with men facing criticism online.

In the released video, two men are holding the python's head and tail on either side, while another man stands in the middle. The men at both ends then rotate the python like a jump rope, and the man in the middle jumps over the snake's body. The approximately 10-second video ends with the man in the middle tripping over the python. During this process, the men can be heard laughing.

As the video gained attention, accusations of 'animal abuse' followed. Criticism intensified especially after a scene was captured showing the restrained python opening its mouth wide and attempting to bite a person.

Netizens responded with comments such as "Not at all a pleasant video," "Clear animal abuse," and "I don't really understand what they are doing. This is outright abuse." It is known that the men filmed this video after finding the python on the street.
