Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Lee Kwang-hoon) gifted side dishes to neighbors in underprivileged groups.
The headquarters volunteer team announced on the 3rd that on the 2nd, they carried out a side dish sharing volunteer activity in Gilcheon Village, Gijang-gun, Busan, together with members of the Nuclear Women’s Association Gijang Branch.
The side dish sharing activity provides homemade side dishes to about 40 low-income households, including basic livelihood security recipients, twice a month in the Jang-an-eup and Ilgwang-eup areas. During holidays such as Seol and Chuseok, holiday foods are delivered.
Employees of Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters are carrying out volunteer activities to share side dishes with love.
The costs for various volunteer activities of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters are funded by the Love Fund, which is created through voluntary donations from executives and employees. Earlier this year, the headquarters donated 24 million won to the Busan Community Chest of Korea.
Jung Jae-rak, Director of External Cooperation at Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters, said, “We will plan and carry out various activities to share warm hearts with local residents so that Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters can coexist and prosper together with the community.”
