‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ Operator Parnas Hotel Surpasses 100 Billion KRW in Operating Profit

‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ Operator Parnas Hotel Surpasses 100 Billion KRW in Operating Profit

Parnas Hotel, the entrusted operator of ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ located in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, has surpassed an operating profit of 100 billion KRW for the first time since its establishment.

Last year, Parnas Hotel’s sales amounted to 482.2 billion KRW, a 30.5% increase compared to the previous year. During the same period, operating profit rose by 45.6% to 103.2 billion KRW, marking the highest performance since the company’s founding in 1985.

Sales across all hotel departments, including rooms, food and beverage, and banquets, grew steadily, with room sales showing the most explosive growth, increasing by approximately 50% year-on-year. Banquet sales also contributed significantly, rising about 26% compared to the previous year.

Parnas Hotel operates a total of nine hotels domestically, including the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX located in the heart of Gangnam, Seoul; the luxury resort hotel Parnas Hotel Jeju; and premium business hotels such as Nine Tree Hotel situated in key areas of Seoul and the metropolitan area including Myeongdong, Insadong, Dongdaemun, Pangyo, and Yongsan.

Additionally, Parnas Hotel manages Parnas Mall, a premium complex shopping and cultural space; Parnas Tower, a top-tier office building with an international prime rating; and the Sunflower International Village residence hotel located in Haiphong, Vietnam, steadily expanding its business scope as a global comprehensive premium lifestyle company.

Meanwhile, Parnas Hotel announced that it will operate the luxury hotel ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas,’ being developed in Jeonjin-ri, Ganghyeon-myeon, Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do, under a consignment agreement.

An industry insider stated, “Since entrusted operators manage rooms and facilities on behalf of unit owners, profitability can vary even with the same sales depending on the scale, room operation know-how, and revenue system. If the operator has a professional and systematic system like Parnas Hotel, stable profit generation can be expected.”

Inscape Yangyang by Parnas is a residential lodging facility with one building spanning from 7 basement floors to 39 above-ground floors, comprising 393 units. After successfully completing the first phase of sales, it has launched the second phase. It features a total of 21 diverse unit types ranging from 37 to 151 square meters, offering a wide selection for buyers.

Daewoo E&C, which has constructed numerous major domestic and international hotels, is responsible for the construction. It is expected to become a luxury hotel combining Daewoo E&C’s construction quality with Parnas Hotel’s operational expertise.

Inscape Yangyang by Parnas will provide contract holders with 30 days of free annual accommodation and maximize their profits by offering hotel operation revenue sharing, lodging, and investment returns simultaneously.

The project also stands out with its differentiated exterior and design compared to nearby lodging facilities. Inscape Yangyang by Parnas is the tallest building in Gangwon-do, with 39 floors and a height of 174.6 meters. The rooftop lounge on the 39th floor offers panoramic ocean and mountain views, and features a ‘Glass Edge’ with a protruding glass floor, allowing guests to enjoy a thrilling view beneath their feet.

Moreover, its location directly in front of Naksan Beach provides the advantage of immediate beach access in swimwear or beachwear, making it expected to become a hip place on the East Coast.

Unlike typical hotels with lobbies on lower floors, a sky lobby is located on the 38th floor, allowing guests to enjoy the view while checking in and out.

The 16th floor features an outdoor infinity pool for relaxation in an open space, along with various amenities such as an indoor pool, poolside bar, private cabanas, and a private fitness center.

Additionally, the exterior is designed in a circular shape rather than a uniform square, and the room windows are fan-shaped, providing significantly wider views compared to rooms of the same size, which has attracted attention.

Most rooms have at least one bedroom to ensure privacy, and two-bedroom or larger units are specially designed with private bathrooms for each bedroom. Some units have bathrooms positioned at the front, allowing guests to enjoy panoramic views directly from the bathtub.

Meanwhile, the sales gallery for ‘Inscape Yangyang by Parnas’ is located in front of Exit 1 of Cheongdam Station on Seoul Subway Line 7 and can be visited by appointment in advance.
