GS25 Launches 'Yeonhui Fruit Makgeolli' as the Third Edition of the Hipgeolli Project
GS25, operated by GS Retail, launched the representative makgeolli line 'Yeonhui Makgeolli' from Gachi Brewery as the third edition of the 'Hipgeolli Project.' The Hipgeolli Project is an event showcasing makgeolli and traditional liquors developed directly by local breweries and young entrepreneurs. Yeonhui Makgeolli is a fruit-flavored makgeolli available in three varieties: 'Yeonhui Strawberry,' 'Yeonhui Flat Peach,' and 'Yeonhui Lychee.' To reflect the preferences of MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) consumers in product planning, GS25’s MD supporters, composed of young employees within the company, directly participated in product selection. GS25 reduced the large size sold at the brewery to 350ml to suit the drinking preferences of the MZ generation. The price is 9,900 KRW.
Seven Eleven Launches 'Matjangwoo Extra-large Bibimbap' with Increased Portion Size
Seven Eleven launched 'Matjangwoo Extra-large Bibimbap,' increasing the portion size of its signature lunchbox product, Jeonju-style Bibimbap, by up to 30%. Matjangwoo Extra-large Bibimbap uses 'Samgwangmi,' selected as the highest quality rice by the Rural Development Administration, and includes eight toppings: pumpkin, mushrooms, bok choy, bean sprouts, carrots, radish greens, romaine lettuce, and gochujang bulgogi. Additionally, it comes with a fried egg, gochujang, and sesame oil. Seven Eleven lowered the unit price per gram by 6.4% compared to the existing Jeonju-style Bibimbap, increasing the quantity while minimizing the price burden. Furthermore, throughout April, all Matjangwoo instant meal series products, including Matjangwoo Extra-large Bibimbap, are offered at a 30% discount when paid with BC Card or Nonghyup Card. With the discount applied, Matjangwoo Extra-large Bibimbap can be purchased for 3,850 KRW.
Pulmuone Samul Launches Two Flavors of Fruit-flavored Zero-calorie Sparkling Water 'Bridgetok'
Pulmuone Samul is launching two new flavors of the zero-calorie sparkling water 'Bridgetok,' which adds fruit flavors to sparkling water. Bridgetok is a food-pairing specialty sparkling water with a clean taste and carbonation. The new products are 'Bridgetok Shine Muscat,' infused with the scent of Shine Muscat grapes, and 'Bridgetok Lemon,' with added lemon flavor. Both products are manufactured in facilities certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety under the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) standards. As part of its no-label eco-friendly campaign, Pulmuone Samul also introduced 'Bridgetok Plain eco,' a no-label sparkling water product that reduces vinyl usage by removing the label attached to the bottle surface and improves PET bottle recycling efficiency.
Daesang Wellife Introduces Two Types of Energy Drink 'Arpoten Force'
Daesang Wellife is launching two types of the energy drink 'Arpoten Force' nationwide at CU convenience stores. This product contains a relatively high caffeine content of 120mg compared to market products, mixed with theanine in a 1:2 ratio to help stabilize the mind and body, and includes galangal extract. This combination extends the duration of the awakening effect and mitigates caffeine side effects. Galangal extract is a plant-based energy source gaining attention as a caffeine substitute. Additionally, it contains 1,000mg of L-arginine and 1,000mg of taurine, and is released as a low-sugar, low-calorie, and zero-fat product.
IOPE Launches Skin Booster Ampoule Peel Pad
Amorepacific’s skincare brand IOPE is launching the 'Skin Booster Ampoule Peel Pad,' a skin scaling pad. The new product consists of PEEL and FILL pads to incorporate the two stages of peeling conducted by skin specialist institutions. According to Amorepacific, a single use effectively removes impurities from pores, reduces pore size, and improves skin texture and tone. The PEEL pad contains 15% of 'multi-acid ingredients,' including LHA, a 4th generation peeling ingredient, as well as AHA, BHA, and PHA. The FILL pad includes ampoule ingredients that provide essential care after pore management, offering moisturizing, soothing, and antioxidant effects.
