Kakao VX, a platform company that adds fun to sports, has introduced the screen golf system ‘Friends Screen Quantum (Q)’.
This new product closely replicates the feel of an actual golf course field. It was released six years after the launch of ‘Friends Screen T2’ in 2018. The undulating field environment is faithfully captured on the indoor screen. The 9-axis variable swing plate (9X Plate) delicately expresses 3D undulation. Golfers can now enjoy the pleasure of the field even on an indoor screen.
It helps golfers make better shots on their own. Through the artificial intelligence (AI) swing coaching feature, users can identify areas for improvement and receive more immediate and intuitive feedback on each shot via the mat display (Q-mat Display). It feels like receiving a lesson. Right after a golfer’s shot, the mat display on the floor shows Club Speed, Ball Speed, Smash Factor, as well as Club Path and Launch Direction.
This product includes various features such as swing analysis through the ultra-high-speed 435FPS ‘Quantum Eye Camera’ that even captures the bending of golf clubs, the 4000FPS infrared ‘Quantum Eye Sensor’ that measures golf ball trajectory and club data, a vivid 4K resolution graphic console, and the ‘Quantum Pad’ that offers a smooth and comfortable touch experience.
Along with the launch of this new product, Kakao VX has also presented a win-win plan for local small business owners. Store owners who purchase the new product will receive a discount of up to 7 million KRW per unit and installation cost support of 4 million KRW until the end of May. A promotion offering a usage fee of 100 KRW per hour will run until the end of this year. Existing store owners will also be provided with financial support programs such as 36 months of interest-free financing.
