Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that it has finalized the selection of 12 finalists who advanced to the finals from the preliminary round of the '8th Lee Hoseop Song Festival' held at the Uiryeong-gun Citizens' Cultural Center on March 30 and 31.

In the preliminary round of the '8th Lee Hoseop Song Festival,' 196 pure aspiring singers under the age of 40, ranging from high school students dreaming of becoming new singers, participated, attracting great attention.

The 8th Ihoseop Song Festival will be held on the 20th.

In particular, the prestige of the Lee Hoseop Song Festival is rising thanks to the popularity of Ms. Bae Ah-hyun, who won the grand prize at the festival and recently became the runner-up in the popular trot competition program Mistrot 3. In this preliminary round as well, aspiring singers from all over the country, including Seoul, Gangwon, and Jeju, gathered in large numbers.

The 12 who passed the preliminaries will compete in the final round of the song festival on the special stage at Seodong Life Park in Uiryeong on the 20th.

The grand prize winner will receive a prize of 5 million won, a singer certification, and support for producing two new songs.

The Lee Hoseop Song Festival finals will be held at 6 p.m. on the 20th at the special stage in Seodong Life Park, Uiryeong-gun. A splendid and thrilling stage will be presented with congratulatory performances by Min Suhyun, Yoo Jina, Pyeon Seungyeop, and Chae Suhyun.
