Listening to the Opinions of Residents Using the Bridge
Seo Cheol-mo, Mayor of Seo-gu, inspecting the site scheduled for demolition of Gugasuwon Bridge / Seo-gu, Daejeon
Seo Cheol-mo, Mayor of Seo-gu, Daejeon, inspected the scheduled demolition site of Gasu-won Bridge within the Gapcheon Daejeon 2 District River Environment Maintenance Project section, conducted by the Geumgang River Basin Environmental Office, on the 1st.
Mayor Seo listened to the opinions of the neighborhood chiefs and residents using the bridge within the project area and checked whether there were any inconveniences in moving to Gasu-won Bridge, which was newly constructed in 2006.
Mayor Seo Cheol-mo stated, “The top priority is for the district to prepare and promptly implement alternatives and measures that minimize residents' inconvenience in line with the national project implementation,” and urged, “Please do your best to ensure the safety and convenience of the residents and to alleviate their concerns.”
Meanwhile, Seo-gu is focusing on securing the safety and convenience of Gapcheon users through active consultations and resident publicity with Daejeon City and the Geumgang River Basin Environmental Office regarding the Gapcheon Daejeon 2 District River Environment Maintenance Project.
