Cherry Blossoms and Tulips in Full Bloom on Campus, Filled with Music and Youth
Artists Including Roy Kim, Apink, Kim Seungmin on the 3rd, and Superbee Participate
National Mokpo University (President Song Ha-cheol) announced on the 2nd that it will hold the ‘2024 Younghaje’ Cherry Blossom Festival, where visitors can enjoy the scent of fully bloomed cherry blossoms and tulips on the vibrant spring campus filled with youth, along with various colorful events.
The festival, which will take place from the 2nd to the 3rd at the central fountain plaza on campus, features a diverse lineup of artists including Roy Kim, Apink, Kim Seung-min, and Superbee, presenting a variety of programs.

This event is hosted by the student council under the slogan ‘All of Us Together Younghaje,’ engaging citizens with club performances, the Palette Song Festival, talent shows, and performances by popular singers. During the festival, healing zones and photo zones will also be set up throughout the campus to provide visitors with diverse experiences.
To ensure a safe festival, the accompanying student council has formed a festival operation committee to oversee overall safety management, and the university has established a pre-disaster response plan to create a safe environment.
Additionally, a central control room and emergency treatment booths will be operated within the event site to perfectly prevent accidents and enable prompt responses.
President Song Ha-cheol emphasized a happy university in harmony with the community, saying, “I hope our students, faculty, staff, and local residents enjoy their time together under the beautiful cherry blossoms and create precious memories of their school days.”
Student Council President Kang San said, “The 2024 Younghaje Festival is expected to create joyful experiences and precious memories for everyone involved,” adding, “Through this year’s event, I hope students feel the romance and start a fragrant new semester full of passion.”
