Trump: "America is being polluted"... Comparing illegal immigrants to terrorists

"Millions of Illegal Immigrants Influx"
"Many Are Terrorists and Drug Dealers"

Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump continues to make tough remarks on illegal immigration ahead of the November presidential election. This is interpreted as a response to the record high number of illegal entries through the southern U.S. border and growing public awareness of crimes committed by illegal immigrants.

In an interview with a Michigan radio station on the 1st (local time), Trump said, "Cities across the United States are being contaminated," adding, "Millions of illegal immigrants are coming in, many of whom come from prisons or mental hospitals, and some are terrorists or drug dealers." He further criticized, "A new form of crime called immigrant crime has emerged in the U.S."

When asked if he plans to carry out a large-scale deportation of illegal immigrants if elected president, he replied, "There is no choice," and said, "We will first deport the bad ones." He also claimed, "Venezuela's crime rate decreased by 67% last year and prisons are empty because Venezuela deported all violent organizations to the U.S."

Earlier, during a campaign rally in December last year, Trump described illegal immigrants as "contaminating America's blood." Both President Biden's campaign and mainstream U.S. media strongly criticized this, but Trump has continued his hardline remarks on illegal immigrants without hesitation.

Trump's recent actions are seen as reflecting his awareness of growing concerns about the U.S. border issue not only among his supporters but also within parts of the Democratic camp. According to an AP poll conducted last month, about two-thirds of Americans, including 4 out of 10 Democrats, 55% of Black voters, and 73% of Hispanics, criticize President Biden's border security policies.

Meanwhile, on the 2nd, Trump is scheduled to visit Grand Rapids, Michigan, to focus on the issue of crimes committed by illegal immigrants and criticize the Biden administration's border policies. Recently, in Georgia, a 25-year-old woman was killed by an illegal immigrant, sparking public outrage in the U.S.
