Psychological Counseling and Testing Available Anytime, Anywhere via Dedicated App
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) is operating the ‘Civil Service Body & Mind Care Day’ program to relieve the mental and physical fatigue of civil complaint handling staff.
The ‘Civil Service Body & Mind Care Day,’ which promotes mental and physical stability through one-on-one psychological counseling by professional counselors and physical care by exercise therapists, is held on the fourth Friday of every month from March to July.
On March 29, the first Body & Mind Care Day of this year, 21 civil complaint handling officials working at the General Civil Service Office, Tax & Health Civil Service Office, Welfare Department, and Community Service Centers participated to recover their health and well-being from work-related fatigue.
In addition, civil complaint handling staff can receive 24-hour psychological counseling and psychological testing anytime and anywhere using a dedicated counseling app without time and location restrictions.
Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “We will strive to protect our employees from malicious complaints such as verbal abuse and assault, and provide kinder administrative services in a safe and comfortable working environment.”
