On March 31 (local time), at the Memorial Park Golf Course (Par 70, 7,435 yards) in Houston, Texas, USA, he won the PGA Tour Texas Children's Houston Open (total prize money $9.1 million) with a score of 12 under par 268. This was his first victory in his 135th PGA Tour start since joining the tour in 2018. The winner's prize money was $1,638,000 (approximately 2.2 billion KRW).
Jaeger had six wins on the PGA Korn Ferry (second-tier) Tour but had never won on the PGA Tour. His green play stood out in this tournament. Equipped with an Odyssey Ai-One 2-Ball Putter, he showcased remarkable putting skills. Over four days, he averaged 27.25 putts per round, ranking second in this category. His putts per hole when hitting the green were also good at 1.69 (9th place).
In the final 4th round, Jaeger made 4 birdies and 1 bogey in the first 9 holes, reducing his score by 3 strokes, and saved par on the remaining 9 holes. He halted the momentum of world number one Scottie Scheffler (USA), who had won the previous two tournaments consecutively. Right after his victory, he explained in an interview with the PGA Tour, "Although I didn't make any birdies on the back nine, I tried to stay calm because it was a difficult course."
