Cherry Blossom Attraction Convenience Facility Operation and Safety Management Continuation

Last weekend, the famous spots of the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, were bustling with crowds eager to see the cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Under the theme "Spring Waltz! Shall We Love Our Cherry Blossoms?", the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, which filled Jinhae with rich cultural content and pink-hued love, concluded on the 1st.

Jinhae, filled with pink-hued love, is showcasing new charms as the fluttering cherry blossom petals leave a lingering spring impression.

Accordingly, Changwon Special City is making efforts to welcome visitors who come to see the drifting cherry blossom rain. Temporary restrooms have been installed at major cherry blossom spots, and safety personnel are stationed throughout the area. Convenience facilities and safety management will continue even after the Gunhangje Festival.

Hong Nam-pyo, mayor of Changwon Special City, said, "Jinhae has been beautifully dyed with pink cherry blossoms along with the warm spring atmosphere," and added, "We will do our best until the end to ensure the safety and comfortable viewing experience of spring visitors."

Jinhae is a modern cultural city where buildings over 100 years old and 360,000 cherry trees blend exquisitely. Riding the monorail at Jehwangsan Park to Jinhae Tower offers a panoramic view of the city covered in white blossoms and the cherry blossom rain.

Other representative cherry blossom spots in Jinhae-gu include Yeojwacheon, famous for its cherry blossom tunnel, and Gyeonghwa Station Park, which features a railway walking path under a long stretch of cherry trees.
