Jeon Mankwon and Lee Changsoo Candidates' Pledge to Extend GTX-A Line to Cheonan-Asan Station

Joint Transportation Pledge for Cheonan·Asan Area... Construction of Advanced Air Traffic Gateway Airport, etc.

The People Power Party candidates Jeon Mankwon for Asan-eul and Lee Changsoo for Cheonan-byeong have jointly adopted the extension of the GTX-A line to Cheonan-Asan Station as a campaign pledge.

Jeon Mankwon, the People Power Party candidate for Asan, and Lee Changsoo, the candidate for Cheonan-byeong, announced a joint transportation pledge for Cheonan and Asan.

The joint pledge announcement, held on the 1st at KTX Cheonan-Asan Station, was organized to share the strategy of Cheonan and Asan as contiguous cities (adjacent cities). The candidates jointly pledged △ extending the GTX-A line to KTX Cheonan-Asan Station (establishing the Dongtan?Cheonan-Asan section) △ constructing an advanced air mobility (AAM, also known as flying car) gateway airport △ creating a digital cultural space at KTX Cheonan-Asan Station.

Candidate Jeon Mankwon stated, “We will share the SRT line to connect the GTX-A line to Cheonan-Asan Station and promote efficient transportation network design through linkage with the government’s x-Tx (local metropolitan express railway) project.”

Candidate Lee Changsoo emphasized, “By promoting the construction of a flying car gateway airport reflected in the 8th term of the Chungnam provincial government, we will achieve a transportation revolution that absorbs not only urban traffic but also domestic air travel demand.”
