KB Kookmin Card announced on the 1st that it has partnered with KB Insurance to launch the ‘KB Insurance My Pet Card,’ which offers various discount benefits for customers who subscribe to pet insurance.
The ‘KB Insurance My Pet Card’ is a credit card designed for customers who have subscribed to KB Insurance’s pet insurance. It features a 20% discount on pet insurance premium payments, up to 10,000 KRW per month. Additionally, it provides a 20% discount on veterinary clinics and pet-related businesses, and a 10% discount on delivery and snacks (including bakery, coffee, fast food sectors, Baedal Minjok, Market Kurly, Yogiyo), each up to 3,000 KRW per month. The card offers these discount services when the previous month’s spending reaches 400,000 KRW or more. The annual fee is 20,000 KRW, and card applications can be made through KB Pay.
To commemorate the card launch, an event offering up to 100,000 KRW cashback throughout April is also underway. Customers who pay a monthly insurance premium of 30,000 KRW or more for ‘KB Geumjjokgateun Pet Insurance’ and spend 70,000 KRW or more excluding the insurance premium will receive 100,000 KRW cashback. However, this benefit is only available to customers who have not used KB Kookmin personal credit cards in the six months prior to the event. Detailed information about the event can be found on the KB Pay event page.
A KB Kookmin Card representative stated, “This product is a collaboration with KB Insurance and offers various benefits related to pet care, including discounts on pet insurance premiums.” They added, “We are also running a launch event, so we ask for the interest of customers who live with their pets.”
