Park Kyung-hyun Fan Club Starts Environmental Protection Activities
Launching 'Sseudam Sseudam' Campaign This Year
Park Hyun-kyung's official fan club, 'Cutieful Hyun-kyung,' is taking action to protect the environment.
On the 1st, it announced that starting from the Doosan Construction Weave Championship, the domestic opening event of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour held at Teddy Valley Golf & Resort in Seogwipo, Jeju Island from the 4th, they will carry out the 'Sseudam Sseudam' campaign, an environmental protection activity at the golf tournament venue. Inspired by plogging (volunteer activity of picking up trash while walking or jogging), this campaign involves voluntarily picking up trash generated during the competition. It is a fan club project planned with the purpose of practicing environmental protection while leading a proper gallery culture.
'Cutieful Hyun-kyung' uses reusable bags. Manager Lee Gi-il said, "We hope that all the gallery visitors at the tournament understand our purpose and participate." Last year, 'Cutieful Hyun-kyung' donated 40 million won to the Community Chest of Korea together with Park Hyun-kyung.
Starting this year, Park Hyun-kyung will attach the Cutieful logo on the back of her golf shirt during tournaments. This is the first time in the KLPGA Tour that a player's fan club name is attached to the player's golf attire. Park Hyun-kyung said, "Thanks to the fans, I feel like I can also spread positive influence, so I look forward to future activities even more," and smiled brightly, adding, "The logo will be a great source of strength while I play."
