Shinhan Investment Corp. announced on the 1st that it has obtained ISO 45001 certification, an international standard for occupational health and safety.
ISO 45001 is a standard established in March 2018 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and is the highest level of international certification in the field of occupational health and safety management, aimed at preventing various risks that may occur in workplaces. The certifying body issues the certification after document and on-site audits regarding the adequacy of the occupational health and safety management system establishment and its efficient operation.
Since declaring its occupational health and safety management policy in 2021, Shinhan Investment Corp. has promoted various occupational health and safety activities, including establishing management regulations, organizing dedicated teams and budgeting, and conducting risk assessments.
In particular, education on disaster preparedness actions such as artificial respiration and cardiopulmonary resuscitation was provided to employees, especially the MZ generation, who have a high awareness of safety. Additionally, the company has strengthened employees' occupational health and safety awareness by operating psychological counseling programs for mental health management in partnership with professional counseling organizations.
