Ulsan City Skills Competition 'Fanfare'... Held Over Five Days at Six Venues

132 Participants from 22 Occupations Over 5 Days

The Ulsan City Skills Competition will be held for five days from the 1st to the 5th at six venues, including Ulsan Technical High School.


Hosted by Ulsan City and organized by the Ulsan City Skills Competition Committee, the 2024 Skills Competition will feature 132 competitors across 22 occupational categories.


This competition, held to discover and nurture outstanding local skilled technicians and to foster a culture that respects skills, will increase the scale of its own prize money for winners starting this year.


Looking at the competition details by venue: ▲ Venue 1 (Ulsan Technical High School) will host 8 occupational categories including CNC/Milling with 40 participants ▲ Venue 2 (Ulsan Industrial High School) will host 4 occupational categories including Agricultural Machinery Maintenance with 22 participants ▲ Venue 3 (Ulsan Anywon High School) will host 3 occupational categories including Game Development with 24 participants ▲ Venue 4 (Hyundai Technical High School) will host 2 occupational categories including CNC/Lathe with 17 participants ▲ Venue 5 (Ulsan Meister High School) will host 3 occupational categories including Mold Making with 16 participants ▲ Venue 6 (Ulsan Women's Center) will host 2 occupational categories including Fashion Design with 13 participants.


The top three winners in each occupational category will have the opportunity to represent Ulsan at the 59th National Skills Competition to be held in Gyeongsangbuk-do this August, along with the benefit of exemption from the national technical qualification skills test for their respective occupations.
