If You Settle in Ulsan, Housing Costs Will Be Supported... For Unmarried Youth Aged 19-39, 1,509 Households This Year

Interest on Monthly Rent and Lease Deposit up to 150,000 KRW per Month upon Selection

Youth settling in Ulsan will receive housing cost support.

Ulsan City announced on the 1st that it has finalized the target households for the '2024 Ulsan Youth Household Housing Cost Support Project' to help stabilize youth housing and promote local settlement.

This project provides cash housing cost support for up to 4 years (48 months) to youth aged 19 to 39 who are unmarried, heads of single-person households without home ownership, living in rental housing in Ulsan with a lease deposit of 100 million KRW or less and monthly rent of 500,000 KRW or less, and whose income is at or below 150% of the median income.

Selected households can receive up to 150,000 KRW per month in actual expenses, including 100,000 KRW for rent and 50,000 KRW for lease deposit interest.

This year, housing costs will be supported for a total of 1,509 households. This includes 798 households from previous beneficiaries who meet this year's criteria (318 households in 2022, 480 households in 2023) and 711 newly selected households.

A total project budget of 2 billion KRW will be invested, which is the largest budget amount following 900 million KRW in 2022 and 1.3 billion KRW in 2023.

Applications for support can be submitted through the Ulsan Housing Support Portal website by the 10th, along with proof of housing cost expenses paid for the first quarter.

An official from Ulsan City said, “We hope that the Youth Household Housing Cost Support Project will help economically vulnerable youth households stabilize their housing and contribute to local settlement.”
