First Official Store Entry in Domestic Online Duty-Free Shop
Customer Events Including Euro 2024 Tickets
Lotte Duty Free announced on the 1st that the popular French fashion brands 'Ami' and 'Maison Kitsune' have officially entered the online duty-free store. Lotte Duty Free is the first in the domestic duty-free industry to have these two brands in its online duty-free store.
Previously, the two brands officially entered Lotte Duty Free's Myeongdong main store exclusively in the domestic duty-free industry in September last year. With their entry into Lotte Internet Duty Free this time, they have officially expanded into the online channel for the first time in the industry. Currently, other duty-free stores' online duty-free shops sell parallel imported products of these brands, but Lotte Duty Free is the only place operating official online and offline stores through direct purchase from Samsung C&T Fashion Division, the official domestic importer.

In the last two months, Ami and Maison Kitsune have gained popularity at Lotte Duty Free, with sales increasing by 40% and 52% respectively compared to the same period last year. Lotte Duty Free plans to enhance trust in genuine products through sales by official importers while expanding sales channels through the online duty-free store, providing a more affordable and convenient shopping environment than market prices.
Ami offers various colors of heart logo short-sleeve T-shirts, including new 2024 products in beige, khaki, and blue, in addition to basic colors like white and black. Classic shirts and business casual attire are also available. Maison Kitsune presents T-shirts and hoodies featuring various logos such as Double Fox Head, Baby Fox, and Chillex Fox.
Additionally, to celebrate the entry into the online channel, a first-come, first-served gift event is being held. Ami offers ▲ stickers for purchases over $300 ▲ keyrings for purchases over $700 ▲ pouches for purchases over $1000. Maison Kitsune offers ▲ Cafe Kitsune cups for purchases over $300 ▲ eco bags for purchases over $700.
Promotions targeting domestic customers are also underway. From the 1st to the 30th of this month, domestic customers who purchase at least $1 using KakaoPay on Lotte Internet Duty Free will be eligible for a Euro 2024 ticket giveaway promotion. Among customers who purchase during the event period and receive their products by May 6th, 15 winners will be randomly selected to receive tickets for one of the Euro 2024 quarterfinal, round of 16, or round of 8 matches. The customer with the highest purchase amount will receive one final match ticket, and 12 customers planning to marry between 2024 and 2025 will also be selected to receive tickets.
Various purchase benefits are provided for KakaoPay users. KakaoPay Money exclusive payment points, which can be used for up to 10% discount at the online duty-free store, will be given, and an additional 5,000 KRW discount will be applied for the first 260 customers each day who pay over 150,000 KRW.
Kim Won-sik, Head of EC Innovation Division at Lotte Duty Free, said, "We expect more domestic customers to enjoy duty-free shopping as the number of outbound travelers increases," adding, "We will continue to increase newly entered brands and strengthen differentiated customer benefits according to rapidly changing trends."
