Former Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-moon of Hyosung stayed for five minutes at the funeral hall of his father, Honorary Chairman Cho Seok-rae of Hyosung Group, before leaving.
On the 30th at 2 p.m., Cho arrived at the funeral hall set up for Honorary Chairman Cho at Sinchon Severance Hospital in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.
Dressed in a black suit and black tie, Cho came down to the basement of the funeral hall with a stern expression, clasping his hands together.
Cho met with his older brother, Chairman Cho Hyun-joon, and younger brother, Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang, who were keeping vigil at the funeral hall, for five minutes.
After paying his respects, reporters asked Cho, "What did you talk about with your brothers?" and "Will you visit the funeral hall again?" but he kept his lips tightly sealed and left the funeral hall.

Cho previously instigated the so-called "Hyosung Brothers' Rebellion" and has since left the company. In July 2014, he filed complaints and accusations of embezzlement and breach of trust against the eldest son and older brother of the Hyosung family, Chairman Cho Hyun-joon. This incident is known as the "Hyosung Brothers' Rebellion." In response, Chairman Cho Hyun-joon's side filed a counter-lawsuit in 2017.
Cho's name was not on the list of bereaved family members of Honorary Chairman Cho displayed at the entrance of the funeral hall that day. It is known that Cho was unable to be by Honorary Chairman Cho's deathbed.
Honorary Chairman Cho passed away at the age of 89 at Seoul National University Hospital in Jongno-gu, Seoul, at 6:38 p.m. on the 29th. The funeral will be held over five days, with the farewell ceremony on the 2nd of next month.
