Naju Geumcheon-myeon - Police Launch 'Creating Safe Routes to School' Campaign

Geumcheon-myeon and Geumcheon Police Substation in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do are taking the lead in creating a safe route to school.

On the 27th, Geumcheon-myeon announced on the 29th that it conducted a traffic safety campaign on the way to school around Geumcheon Elementary School and Honam Horticultural High School together with Geumcheon Police Substation.

More than 20 employees from Geumcheon-myeon and Geumcheon Police Substation encouraged compliance with traffic signals, stopping at crosswalk stop lines, and making seatbelt use a habit.

Im Jaegwan, head of Geumcheon Police Substation, said, "We will regularly promote traffic campaigns such as safe walking guidance to create a safe school zone."

Choi Yoonim, head of Geumcheon-myeon, stated, "We will establish a safe traffic culture so that students can go to and from school with peace of mind."
