A Chinese man who drank over 4 liters of water and continuously sprayed it from his mouth for nearly 6 minutes has broken a Guinness World Record, UPI reported on the 28th.
Ma Hui, a 35-year-old Chinese man, set the record by drinking 1.1 gallons (4.2 liters) of water and using his mouth as a human fountain for 5 minutes and 52 seconds. By controlling his muscles to reverse the flow of liquid and spray water from his mouth, he surpassed the previous record held by an Ethiopian man (56.36 seconds) by more than six times.

According to the Guinness World Records, the longest duration for spraying water from the mouth must involve spitting or spraying water, and forcibly controlling the water stream is not allowed. Guinness stated that water spouting is a skill related to precise muscle control and has been performed since at least the 17th century.
Most netizens who watched the video expressed amazement and praised him as a human fountain. Comments included, "I tried too but can't last even a minute," "We should hire him as our garden caretaker," and "How healthy must he be."
