President Yoo Introduces Seoul National University Internationalization Strategy
Seoul National University announced on the 30th that President Yoo Hong-rim met with Mark Elliott, International Vice President of Harvard University, to confirm their commitment to exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
Vice President Elliott, who met at Seoul National University in Gwanak-gu, Seoul on the 27th, emphasized the growing interest and status of Korea in the United States and expressed hope for expanded exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
In response, President Yoo introduced Seoul National University's key internationalization strategies and replied, "I hope this opportunity will further expand exchange and cooperation with Harvard University."
Attending the meeting were Lee Jae-wook, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, Cho Seung-ah, former Director of the Office of International Cooperation, and Lee Ho-young, Associate Dean of Research at the College of Medicine.
Furthermore, President Yoo and Vice President Elliott reached a consensus to expand student exchanges through the summer university program and to activate research cooperation between the medical schools of both universities, agreeing to explore collaboration in various fields in the future.
