Support Ceremony for Chartered Bus for Group Visits to National Busan Science Museum on the Morning of the 29th
Priority Allocation to Elementary, Middle, and High Schools in Western and Northern Busan, Ulsan, and Other Distant Areas
BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seong-bin) held a support ceremony for the "Science Museum Education with BNK Busan Bank, Happy BUS Day" to bridge the science culture gap between regions on the morning of the 29th at the National Busan Science Museum located in Gijang-gun, Busan.
This "Happy BUS Day" is a transportation support project for group field trip visits, and Busan Bank provides charter buses to a total of 60 elementary, middle, and high schools in remote areas. In particular, the supported buses will be allocated first to schools in the western and northern Busan and Ulsan areas, where experiential education environments and conditions are lacking, as well as schools prioritized for educational welfare support.
At the support ceremony, Moon Jeong-won, Head of the Eastern and Ulsan Sales Headquarters of Busan Bank, said, "We hope this 'Happy BUS Day' project will contribute even a little to the balanced development of regional science culture," and added, "Busan Bank will continue to take the lead in educational support projects for youth who will lead the future."
Busan Bank has been continuing practical social contribution projects to support local youth education, such as ▲Walking to School Together ▲Safety Yellow Card ▲Establishment of Runway-type Crosswalks in School Zones, and in recognition of these efforts, it has received the 'Education Mecenat Top' award for 16 consecutive years in the field of educational donation projects.
