Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation to Hold the 9th Flea Market at the 30th Happy Market

On April 1st, the 'Warmth Sharing Concert' for People with Disabilities Also Held

Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced that it will hold a ‘Happiness Market’ and ‘Warmth Sharing Concert’ as part of the Cherry Blossom Festival at the Daejeon Currency Museum Plaza.

The Happiness Market, the ‘9th Flea Market,’ held on the 30th, will sell items brought by ordinary citizens and items donated by the employees of the Minting Corporation. The Beautiful Store Daejeon Chungcheong Headquarters, nine local businesses belonging to the Yuseong Tourism Dure Council, social enterprises, and local workshops will participate, and on-site registration will be available for the general public on the day.

The Minting Corporation conducts an annual ‘Recyclable Goods Donation Campaign’ involving all employees. All proceeds from sales at the Happiness Market are donated, and donations voluntarily contributed by flea market participants and social enterprises are re-donated to the ‘Beautiful Store’ to enhance social value.

Generous prizes will be provided to the Happiness Market participants. Lucky draw prizes include calligraphy experience vouchers, full-page banknotes, woodblock prints, and the popular prize of the Minting Corporation’s ‘Currency Manufacturing Site Tour Voucher.’

Various programs will also be operated. Rich attractions are prepared, including the experience of holding 500 million won only available at the Currency Museum, coin stacking, face painting events, and performances by the healing music group ‘Diffuse,’ musical actor ‘Min Siyoon,’ and K-POP dance performances by ‘Double A.’

On April 1, a ‘Warmth Sharing Concert’ will be held at the Currency Museum Plaza. It was prepared together with the Daejeon Mental Rehabilitation Facilities Association to improve awareness of people with disabilities and support their rehabilitation.
