Exclusive Launch of 'Sujeong Shop' at KT Alpha

KT Alpha Shopping announced on the 29th that it will present an exclusive program with Lee Sujeong, a shopping host known as the 'Goddess of Sales' in the home shopping industry.

Lee Sujeong has held the position of lead shopping host at Lotte Home Shopping for 23 years. Despite the sluggish home shopping market, she is regarded as a legendary figure in the industry, having achieved an order amount of 3 billion KRW in just one episode of a recent jewelry broadcast. Over the past 23 years, her total broadcast time has reached 10,000 hours, and she has launched more than 1,000 products.

KT Alpha has formed a strategic partnership with this shopping host. Under a freelance contract, they will launch an exclusive program called 'Sujeong Shop(#)' on the 4th of next month. By recruiting Lee Sujeong, KT Alpha plans to secure the core customer base of women aged 40 to 50 in home shopping and revitalize female-oriented categories such as fashion, beauty, and jewelry.

Sujeong Shop is inspired by the symbol '#' which means rounding up, signifying 'a premium shop that rounds up your lifestyle and values.' Only products personally tested and selected by Lee Sujeong will be showcased. The product categories range widely from fashion and beauty to luxury goods, underwear, and health supplements.

Shopping host Lee Sujeong said, “My goal is not just to be a simple seller but to become a ‘brand marketing director’ who finds and recommends products that customers love,” adding, “I have expanded my activities to KT Alpha Shopping, where I can offer customers greater benefits and superior products.”
