Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, visited the traffic control site on the morning of the 28th to ensure the safe hosting of the "18th Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival."
At the site, Mayor Choi, along with employees from related organizations and departments, began traffic control for a safe spring flower festival by installing protective barriers at the southern end of Seogang Bridge, the starting point of the cherry blossom road.
The "18th Yeongdeungpo Yeouido Spring Flower Festival" will be held from March 29 to April 2, and traffic control will be enforced from 12:00 PM on March 28 until 10:00 PM on April 4.
The control period is extended two days beyond the last day of the festival to allow visitors to enjoy the cherry blossoms safely and leisurely.
Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, stated, "The most important thing during this festival is the safety of our visitors." He added, "We will do our best to support convenience facilities and manage safety to ensure no inconvenience during the festival period, so we hope visitors can relax and enjoy a leisurely spring flower picnic."
