The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center, operated by the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Commendation at the '2024 Women Saeil Center Meritorious Service Awards Ceremony' for the second consecutive year.
The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center was recognized for its contributions in strengthening the role of the career development-type Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center, fostering talent and alleviating recruitment difficulties through job training in the information technology (IT) field, and enhancing employment stability through customized follow-up management.
In addition to the institutional commendation, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation's counselor Shim Kyung-hee from the Gyeonggi Regional Saeil Center, who won the grand prize (A 10-Year Journey, Discovering Shining Treasures Together) in the 'Ministry of Gender Equality and Family Women’s Economic Activity Support Best Practices Contest,' also received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award.
Yoon Deok-ryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "Being selected as an excellent Saeil Center for two consecutive years and receiving the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award in the individual category is the result of our continuous efforts to establish a foundation where women with career experience can work. We will continue to strive to expand women's employment through operating demand-tailored job training courses for women and companies and performing the regional functions of the Saeil Center."
The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center was selected as an excellent Saeil Center in 2023, following 2022, and received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award.
Meanwhile, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation operates the Gyeonggi Regional Saeil Center and the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center at its Southern Business Headquarters located in Yongin.
The Gyeonggi Regional Saeil Center performs regional functions for cooperation and communication among local Saeil Centers in the southern Gyeonggi area and carries out projects to prevent career breaks among women.
The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center is a career development-type Saeil Center in the information technology (IT) field, providing employment support services for women with career experience and unemployed women. At the end of last year, it ranked first among career development-type Saeil Centers in the '2023 Saeil Center Evaluation' conducted by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family targeting 159 Saeil Centers nationwide, and was selected as an excellent Saeil Center for two consecutive years following 2022.
