Early Detection of Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Diseases and Promotion of Healthy Lifestyle Practices

Changwon Public Health Center operated a 'Visiting Cardiovascular and Cerebrovascular Disease Counseling Room' on the 28th for bus companies (Daewoon Transportation, Dongyang Transportation, Changwon Bus) within Seongju Public Garage.

This initiative aims to prevent and manage cardiovascular diseases in advance, as hypoglycemia, stroke, and myocardial infarction occurring during work can threaten not only bus drivers but also the safety of citizens.

Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases require comprehensive management of various related factors such as medication, nutrition, exercise, and smoking cessation. Therefore, Changwon Public Health Center plans to operate continuous counseling sessions quarterly to promote comprehensive management and encourage healthy lifestyle practices.

Jung Hye-jung, director of Changwon Public Health Center, stated, “Since 2023, Changwon Public Health Center has been committed to preventing and managing cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases among bus drivers who are responsible for citizens' safety,” and added, “We will continue to strive to ensure the overall safety of Changwon citizens' lives.”
