On the afternoon of the 28th, at a campaign site at Hoegi Station intersection in Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, Chairman Han said, "The People Power Party has strongly demanded the government to temporarily reduce the value-added tax from 10% to 5%?half the rate?on areas closely related to the lives of ordinary people, such as processed foods like baby and childcare products, ramen, instant rice, canned goods, and food ingredients like sugar and flour." He added, "If necessary, we will push for legal revisions."

He continued, "To stabilize agricultural and livestock product prices, we have requested the government to take more proactive measures, such as holding large-scale agricultural and livestock product fairs utilizing gift certificates and cashback systems," and stated, "I understand the government is preparing positive measures."

He also emphasized the opposition's judgment theory. Chairman Han said, "The reason for judging Lee Jae-myung (leader of the Democratic Party) and Cho Guk (leader of the Innovation Party) and judging criminals is a prerequisite for properly implementing livelihood policies and political reform," adding, "When you go outside, explain to one or two people around you why decent citizens must fight and win against criminal alliances."

Furthermore, he said, "(This general election) will be an election that determines the fate of the Republic of Korea since 1987," and added, "After 5 or 10 years, we will look back to see if we did our best at decisive moments. At that time, I want to hear that we saved the country together with you."

Meanwhile, Chairman Han showed a livelihood-focused approach by visiting Garak Market in Songpa-gu, Seoul, as his first campaign activity at midnight on the same day. Meeting with cabbage and fruit vendors, Chairman Han said, "The People Power Party is a party that represents hardworking working people," and apologized, saying, "I am sorry that prices have risen significantly."
