Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort (Founder Kim Honam, CEO Lee Aeja) announced on the 28th that it held a donation ceremony at Mokpo Jungang High School at 6:30 PM on the 27th, deciding to continue providing scholarships for talent development by contributing donation funds.

As a successful model of investment attraction in Jeollanam-do, Gangjin Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort held a 50 million KRW development fund donation ceremony at Mokpo Jungang High School, operated by the Geunhwa Foundation, together with parents, making the event even more meaningful for nurturing local talent.

This development fund was donated with the shared intention of further developing as a social enterprise in honor of the late Chairman Kim Honam’s exceptional dedication to nurturing future generations and talent. The donation of 50 million KRW was made by Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort and Dasan Beachae Country Club CEO Lee Aeja, who is also the director of Mokpo Jungang High School under the Geunhwa Foundation and the spouse of the late Chairman Kim Honam, along with General Manager Kim Yurim, who inherited the family legacy, and Geunhwa Construction CEO Jang Boseong.

Dasan Beachae Golf & Resort is a prestigious club established in 2018 by the late Chairman Kim Honam. It is composed of a 27-hole public golf course and a resort with a total of 52 rooms on a 450,000-pyeong (approximately 1.49 million square meters) site.

In particular, it features 14 seaside holes overlooking Gangjin Bay right in front, and rooms with views of Gaudo Island and the suspension bridge, establishing itself as a popular golf destination.

Additionally, Dasan Beachae Country Club and its parent company, Geunhwa Construction Co., Ltd., have been supporting the “Dreams Blossom Scholarship” at Mokpo Jungang High School for 12 consecutive years through the Unam Cultural Scholarship Foundation, established by Chairman Kim Honam in 2013 during his lifetime.

Mokpo Jungang High School has been reborn as a prestigious specialized high school in the region through the concerted efforts of all faculty and staff since the late Chairman Kim Honam took office as chairman in 2008, and recently remodeled the entire school building to show a more advanced appearance.

Meanwhile, Geunhwa Construction Co., Ltd. recently opened the “Heritage Hotel” near Mokpo Peace Plaza, symbolizing the continuation of the previous generation’s cultural heritage, and is expanding its new business scale.
