Hoban Group announced on the 28th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IBK Investment & Securities for cooperation and mutual growth across finance and business sectors.

The signing ceremony held the previous day at Hoban Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul, was attended by about 20 representatives from both companies, including Kim Daeheon, Chief Planning Officer of Hoban Group, and Seo Jeonghak, CEO of IBK Investment & Securities.
Through this agreement, both parties will collaborate in various areas such as real estate finance, corporate finance, fund management and procurement, reciprocal investment, and expansion of inter-company transactions. In particular, IBK Investment & Securities plans to leverage its expertise as a securities firm specialized in small and medium-sized enterprises to support Hoban Group in areas including initial public offerings (IPO), mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory, private equity fund formation, and new technology investment associations.
Kim Daeheon, Chief Planning Officer of Hoban Group, stated, "In these challenging times of increasing management uncertainty, we have created new business opportunities with IBK Investment & Securities, the only securities company affiliated with a national policy bank in Korea. I hope this will be a win-win opportunity that maximizes synergy through the strengths of both companies."
