Hyundai AutoEver announced on the 28th that it has recruited Ryu Seok-moon, former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Socar, as the Head of the Software Development and Quality Division.
Joining on April 1, Ryu is a lead software engineer who oversaw all development areas at Socar. He worked as a Development Director at Riot Games, driving platform development projects, and contributed to the adoption of new technologies, developer training, and the spread of development culture at Naver, NHN Technology Service, and others.

Ryu is expected to play a key role in systematically and efficiently establishing service models in the development and quality management of Hyundai AutoEver’s vehicle electronic software.
He expressed, "I am pleased to participate in developing globally competitive mobility services at Hyundai AutoEver, which has led technology in the vehicle software field," adding, "I hope to contribute to service development that realizes customer value by fostering continuously growing individuals and organizations."
Starting with Ryu’s joining, Hyundai AutoEver plans to actively recruit talented technical experts. Kim Yoon-gu, CEO appointed at the shareholders’ meeting on the 26th, emphasized, "In 2024, Hyundai AutoEver will provide irreplaceable products and services based on the best technology," and added, "To achieve this, we will actively strengthen software technology and quality essential for business competitiveness and secure key talent."
