Kumho Tire will apply its uniform brand to Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, a prestigious South Korean football club celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
Founded in 1994, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, marking its 30th anniversary this year, is the team with the most championships (9 times) in the K League, South Korea's top professional football league, and is recognized as one of the country's leading football clubs.
To commemorate its 30th anniversary, Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors unveiled a special newtro uniform that embodies the club's identity and values to its fans. Notably, the Kumho Tire logo will be displayed on the lower back of the special newtro uniform jersey. Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors players will wear this special newtro uniform in a total of five home games, including the prestigious 'Hyundai Family Derby' on the 30th in K League 1.
Additionally, Kumho Tire will showcase its own brand on LED boards, fixed boards beside the goalposts, and the official website during league matches held at Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors' home stadium throughout the 2024 season.
Starting from the first game wearing the special newtro uniform, the 'Hyundai Family Derby,' Kumho Tire plans to broadcast new LED advertisements featuring 'EnnoV,' its electric vehicle (EV) dedicated tire brand, throughout the remainder of the season, strengthening its image as an innovative technology-based performance brand. Through customer invitation programs and various promotional activities within the stadium, Kumho Tire will engage with Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors fans and continue diverse brand marketing efforts targeting potential customers.
