The 4th Goseong-gun Social Workers Conference Held... Boosting Morale and Promoting Exchange and Harmony

The Gyeongnam Social Workers Association Goseong-gun Branch held the '18th Social Workers Day and the 4th Goseong-gun Social Workers Conference' at the Goseong-gun Comprehensive Social Welfare Center annex, attended by about 100 social workers.

The event, held on the 27th, was organized to boost the morale, exchange, and harmony of social workers who quietly fulfill their duties for the development of community welfare.

The event consisted of awards for 13 social workers who have devoted themselves to improving the quality of life and welfare of neighbors in need, congratulatory speeches, and the social workers' oath.

On this day, Goseong-gun Governor Lee Sang-geun visited to encourage and support the social workers striving for the development of community welfare.

In his encouragement speech, Governor Lee said, “Thanks to the social workers and their families who dedicate themselves tirelessly on the front lines of welfare, the residents of Goseong-gun have been able to live happy lives. Our county will do its best as your strong supporter.”

Chairman Lee Jong-su said, “Thanks to the interest and support of many people cheering for Goseong social workers every year, we were able to hold the event successfully. We will continue to strive to improve the rights and status of social workers who do their best in the field of social welfare.”

Meanwhile, the Gyeongnam Social Workers Association Goseong-gun Branch plans to promote various activities this year, including continuing education for social workers, Ssedam Running (plogging) for carbon neutrality, outings for the elderly in Seongjin Village, and consolation events for veterans' families.
