Regarding the 'Seoul Bus Strike,' Kim Dong-yeon says "Gyeonggi-do Buses Operating Normally"

Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, promised to do his best to ensure that residents do not experience any inconvenience related to the Seoul City Bus Labor Union strike.


On the morning of the 28th, Governor Kim posted on his social media (SNS), "The Seoul City Bus Labor Union went on strike early this morning," and added, "We sent a notification message to Gyeonggi residents last night and early this morning recommending the use of Gyeonggi buses and subways."


Regarding the 'Seoul Bus Strike,' Kim Dong-yeon says "Gyeonggi-do Buses Operating Normally" Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon’s post on his SNS on the 28th regarding the Seoul City Bus Union strike

He continued, "Gyeonggi Province buses are operating normally," and explained, "Alternative transportation will be deployed on some Seoul bus routes."


He also added, "We will do our best to prevent any inconvenience to residents."


Earlier, the Seoul City Bus Union decided on a full strike and began the strike from the first bus at 4 a.m. As a result, 7,210 out of 7,382 buses in Seoul, accounting for 97.6%, stopped operating.
