Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation conducted its first coastal cleanup activity of the year on the 27th.
On this day, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation announced that in celebration of Siheung City's 'Coastal Cleanup Day,' about 30 executives and employees, along with fishermen and Siheung city officials, collected and gathered approximately 1 ton of marine debris through a joint effort involving private, public, and government institutions.
Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation is conducting environmental cleanup activities in Siheung City on the 27th.
Since last year, the foundation has been participating in the 'Gyeonggi Sea Together (Hae)' initiative through the voluntary participation of its executives and employees at Turtle Island and Oido Port areas in Siheung City. This year as well, it is promoting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management and contributing to the restoration of the coastal ecosystem.
Last year, through the voluntary participation of its executives and employees, the foundation took part in the quarterly 'Gyeonggi Sea Together (Hae)' activities four times annually, collecting 4 tons of marine debris and contributing to the stabilization of the marine ecosystem.
