On the 27th, Seongbuk-gu in Seoul held the 79th Arbor Day tree planting event at the foot of Bukaksan Mountain in Seongbuk-gu.
About 200 people participated, including Lee Seung-ro, the mayor of Seongbuk-gu, resident organizations such as the Nature Conservation Council and the Saemaeul Association Seongbuk Branch, as well as nearby residents.
They planted a total of approximately 3,350 trees, including Sansuyu (Cornus officinalis), azaleas, and Yeongsanhong (Rhododendron mucronulatum).
Along with this, the district also planted azaleas, which have the flower language of "integrity," conveying a message to share and spread the value of integrity.
