Caliverse, a subsidiary of Lotte Innovate (formerly Lotte Information & Communication), developed the hyper-realistic metaverse platform 'Caliverse.' It combines content such as shopping, entertainment, and user-generated content (UGC) with ultra-realistic visuals and innovative interactive technology.

The event took place on the 26th at the Tokyo Tower Prince Hotel in Japan. Over 400 attendees from more than 150 companies participated, including renowned Japanese companies such as Sony, NTT, Canon, Casio, Rakuten, Suntory, Hitachi, Square Enix, Bandai Namco, DMM, and Shueisha, as well as financial firms like JCB and SBI, and major media outlets including Asahi TV, TBS, and Nikkei.

Kim Dong-gyu, CEO of Caliverse, said, "We were able to confirm the strong interest of the Japanese market in the metaverse and Web 3.0," adding, "We plan to add a Japanese version within the year and expand content further through collaboration with various companies."

Caliverse launched its global early access service in Korean and English versions this January. It currently serves around 5,000 users. Caliverse plans to open a fully open version within the year.
