Gyeonggawon Strengthens Regional Cooperation with 9 New City and County Industrial Promotion Agencies in the Province

The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is strengthening cooperation with nine city and county industrial promotion agencies within the province.


On the 26th, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency announced on the 27th that it held a win-win strategy meeting to strengthen cooperation with nine city and county industrial promotion agencies in the province and to revitalize the local economy at the Pangyo Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center.


The meeting was organized to prepare win-win strategies and revitalize the local economy in response to global economic instability and domestic and international economic downturns through cooperation with city and county industrial promotion agencies in the province.

Following presentations on major ongoing projects and achievements by the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency and the city and county industrial promotion agencies, the meeting shared various corporate support policies by city and county and conducted in-depth discussions on regional industrial development plans and corporate fostering policies.


In particular, in-depth discussions were held on plans to foster region-specific industries in the province, the utilization of GBC to support local companies, and the introduction of dedicated managers.


Based on the discussions at this strategic meeting, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency plans to develop policies to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises in Gyeonggi-do and support sustainable development, and to put more effort into project implementation.


Kang Seong-cheon, head of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, emphasized, "This meeting served as an opportunity to build a closer cooperative network among industrial promotion institutions in the province," adding, "We will continue to strengthen communication and cooperation among institutions to revitalize the economic ecosystem within the province."
