Enhancing Capabilities in Military and Public Security Duties
The Naval Logistics Command (hereinafter referred to as Naval Logistics Command) and the Gyeongsangnam-do Provincial Police Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongnam Police Agency) signed a memorandum of understanding on the 27th at the Naval Logistics Command conference room, attended by 16 people including Ansangmin, Commander of the Naval Logistics Command, and Kim Byung-woo, Chief of the Gyeongnam Police Agency.

Through this MOU ceremony, both organizations agreed to enhance public trust in the military and police and improve work capabilities by sharing various cases of incidents and accidents and preventive measures for transparent and honest procurement operations, as well as cases of civil complaints and conflict management during public service operations.
Additionally, they plan to continuously discover mutual cooperation matters and improve and develop work procedures in the fields of logistics and mobilization during wartime and peacetime, further strengthening support capabilities to ensure that there are no gaps in security and public order maintenance tasks.
In particular, the Gyeongnam Police Agency plans to explore the applicability of the Naval Logistics Command’s exemplary cases and know-how in logistics work to policing tasks, aiming to promote the K-policing industry as a role model alongside the globally recognized K-defense industry.
Meanwhile, the Naval Logistics Command and the Gyeongnam Police Agency have resolved to achieve both transparent and honest work performance and enhanced work capabilities through the collaboration of the two organizations that work tirelessly day and night for national security, thereby achieving trusted K-defense and K-policing for the public.
